Keep adult learner profiles, course details and teaching groups organised. Enrol learners on multiple courses, manage group capacity and retain completion and withdrawal history.
02
Take the daily register. Record present, absent, late and authorised absence, with recorded arrival times and attendance reports.
03
Manage staff records, configured working patterns, clocking sessions and absences. Staff can use mobile clocking with workplace location checks.
04
Set whole-day annual allowances, review requests and approve or reject leave. See booked holiday against balances and retain a clear decision history.
05
Give private concerns a dedicated route to designated lead accounts. Keep medical alerts and incident records available to authorised staff.
06
Keep learner and college documents together, record communications and review day-to-day administration through filtered reports and exports.
Mobile staff clocking
Staff can clock in and out from their phone, with workplace location checks at each clocking event. Open Hopestrand in a mobile browser to keep the working day moving.
Learner self-service is planned. Today, college staff record the daily register and separately approved referrers can view published attendance.

Timetables show planned lessons. Daily learner attendance is recorded separately; cover is arranged by staff.

Keep the right people informed
Invite separately approved referrers to view attendance that your college has checked and published. Each referrer sees only the learners they have been explicitly authorised to access.
Configure a weekly notification day and time, and select eligible recipients. When automated sending is enabled and attendance has been published, notifications direct them to sign in, without including learner attendance details in the email.
External access is invitation-only. Adding a contact does not grant access.
College launch package
One site, up to 20 active staff login accounts and 250 active learners. Includes hosting, backups, maintenance and standard support.
Larger providers, multiple sites, data migration and bespoke development are quoted separately.
